Thank you |
Hi Herb,
Max's Training has been going very well. We now feel that we have control of his aggression tendencies and we have been able to have company over without worry. His behavior on the leash is excellent now and he almost ignores visitor's when on the leash and when he is in his pen he doesn't bark very long at visitor's and even then he will "sit" for a stranger for a "treat" and be quiet afterward. We will always be cautious with him given his tendencies, and understand it is a lifelong commitment, but he is a great family pet. The problem we have now is when he gets loose he will not come to me or anyone else, but the good news is when he's loose he is not aggressive at all toward strangers that he has run into or their dogs, so maybe he's ready for Missy's classes.
He is scheduled to go to Cedar Hill Kennel for a couple of weeks this summer and we hope he doesn't regress. The kennel operator said that they know you and that they know Missy and they will work with Missy and Max during his visit.
Again, thanks for all your help, id it wasn't for you Max would have had to be put down by now, so he thanks you too.
Samuel & Karen
