About Herb's Classes.... |
| "I called Herb to get some advice about my rescue Bouvier des Flandres. He made a number of recommendations which were really excellent and I used them successfully. By the end of the long conversation I knew I wanted to enroll in his obedience class. This was somewhat insane since I lived 2 hours away! But Teddy and I did it anyway. The class was great and I was impressed at how Herb adjusted the training to each individual dog and the goals were adjusted accordingly. Teddy just loved the class. After the third class, Teddy recognized the Mass Tpke exit and for the next 20 minutes wold be very excited, whining, jumping up and down, etc. He simply couldn't wait to get out of the car and get started. The classes clearly built up his self-confidence and were absolutely instrumental in Teddy overcoming his separation anxiety.
One last note: I always got the feeling from Herb that this was a partnership and not just a teacher-student relationship. I think of Herb now not as Teddy's trainer but rather as a friend. I simply can't say enough about his approach to training."
